I meant plastic frames

Once I logged off I thought I wrote plastic lenses. Wrong. The lenses are glass, the frames are plastic. I need to pay closer attention to what I write!! I am sure you all know what I meant.

My new glasses

I forgot to mention I got new glasses. This is a big thing for me because they are totally different from my old pair. I have really bad vision so you could always see the thickness when I wore my glasses. The doctors office suggested I try plastic lenses which will hide more of the thickness so I did and was so happy with the results. My glasses are so lightweight( first time ever) and they thinned the lenses so well you would not know how bad my eyesight is!! I will probably give up wearing my contacts eventually. I could not wear them much anyhow because they kept burning my eyes. I have been wearing contacts since I was fifteen so I think it just has taken a toll on my eyes and it is now time to wear glasses full time. Plus, I won't have to buy the expensive contact solution anymore. Horray for plastic lenses!!Oh, by the way, I my new frames are square looking with a sort of tiger design. They look like Jessica Paulsens.

I'm back

I am back now. I was called to sub in a kindergarten classroom yesterday and was totally exhausted when I came home. I always thought I would enjoy this age group the most but I have changed my mind. Too many behavior issues to deal with and tattletelling. None of us were like this as five year olds were we?? Anyway, I have to work half a day tomorrow as a sub for the art teacher. I am definately not artistic but maybe I will get off easy and the lesson plans will be to let them free draw. I'll let you know how it goes. Then on Friday I take Lena to her appt with the pediatric neurologist. I assured her it is just an appt to talk to him. She still remembers the MRI and being put to sleep and the heart monitor test. I told her since all the tests came back normal and she has not had any more fainting the doctor will probably just ask us a few questions and then we can leave. I sure hope it goes that way. I plan to take her to the dollar tree when we get done. She loves that place and so do I. Later.

I am offically a blogger. I just love reading everyone elses blogs so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon! It was so easy setting it up . I actually did it by myself. Horray. Usually when I try something new it turns out wrong so I was proud of myself. I will return later. I am to see if this posted okay. Wish me luck!!!
